Swan Lake. 3040 miles on this trip.Talked to a lady and her little dog. They have traveled 12,000 miles. They started in Vermont and wintered in Texas. They traveled through Arizona and then north to the Yukon. The dog has her own photo album.

So far today we've seen a man pulling a rickshaw type cart while walking and an older man walking his bike up a hill. He looked like he was about to die. Quite a few self contained bicyclists.

131433. Trip 3325 miles. It is awesome along the Yukon River. Arrived at 6:15, checked in at the bar, went to the grocery store and bought baby carrots. Went to the river board walk and took a picture of us having our evening refreshment along the Yukon River. It would be a perfect paddle boarding experience if there was time.

Went to a public tea with local entertainment and guests dressed in period costumes. Presenting service awards to volunteers.

Went to all three shows at Gertie's. Walked back to camp at 12:30 am and it was light outside. A man sat with us. Found out he is from Grinnell. He sold welding equipment to farmers. Mr. Roby?
Pretty rough morning. Woke up at 5:30 and proceeded to start driving. Made the bed while waiting the few minutes to take the ferry across the Yukon River. Drove the " To the Top of the World" Highway. ( around 70 miles). Waited at US border for it to open T 8:00 am.
Odometer 131744. Trip 3636. I finally completed my morning routine of brushing teeth, washing face, making coffee, and combing my hair. The day will get better now. Back in the USA! Now on to Chicken, AK. I hope I'm ready for this horrible road and curvy tight turns through the mountains.
