John saw an antelope along the side of the road.

We saw a bunch little prairie dogs on the side of the road. Some were mating.

Walked about the lake and took pictures.

While John was sitting on the rocks with hie sore foot in the cold water a butterfly landed on his knee for a brief moment.  This was the only butterfly around and we think it very odd to be there. It was the only time that we saw a butterfly. 

At the camp ground we walked around after dinner and cleaning up the dishes. It was pretty with the mountains and stream.

Emerald Lake 129789. Trip. 1682. 6/2/2014Paddle board until 10:40 am. Almost fell in the water.  A loon was in the water right close to me and then dove in. Saw a school of fish right when I started on the journey.

Odometer 130089.  6/3/2014, 6:40 am, just north of McBride, BC.  Saw a baby moose in the ditch and then a mama grizzly and cub in ditch. Took pictures. Saw 10 bear total today. 1 was road kill.
